Queen Alia International Airport Named ‘Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East’ for Second Time and Renews Level 3 Airport Customer Experience Accreditation
- 2025-03-11
Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has been named the ‘Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East’ for the second time, reaffirming its dedication to delivering an exceptional passenger experience at every touchpoint. The title was awarded by Airports Council International World (ACI World) based on the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey, which is part of the world’s leading airport customer experience measurement and benchmarking program.
This recognition, first awarded to QAIA based on the 2022 ASQ Survey, honors the top 5% of airports by region within the Departures Main Program. It acknowledges airports that excel in offering passengers a pleasant and comfortable journey, encompassing retail, dining, entertainment and overall waiting times.
Additionally, after a comprehensive review and verification process, QAIA successfully renewed its Level 3 ACI World Airport Customer Experience Accreditation until February 2026. By adhering to global best practices and industry standards, QAIA demonstrated a structured approach to customer experience management through multifaceted engagement with customers, employees and customer experience professionals. QAIA also implemented forward-thinking initiatives across seven of the program’s eight key domains: Customer Understanding, Strategy, Measurement, Operation Improvement, Governance, Airport Culture and Service Design/Innovation.
“Receiving the ‘Most Enjoyable Airport in the Middle East’ title for the second time and renewing Level 3 of our Airport Customer Experience Accreditation are both testaments to our unwavering commitment to enhancing the passenger journey and creating an environment that is both welcoming and convenient.
Since the inauguration of the Terminal Building 12 years ago, we have continuously adapted to the evolving needs of our passengers, ensuring that QAIA remains synonymous with comfort and enjoyment and a place where passengers feel at home from the moment they arrive. These achievements are a reflection of the dedication of our entire airport community, whose collective efforts have once again been recognized by those who matter most - our passengers. We sincerely thank them for their trust and recognition,” commented Airport International Group CEO, Nicolas Deviller.
